ETCH TO IMPRESS made his mark on Appaloosa history in the Halter show pen.  One of his leopard colts, ETCH FOR SUCCESS came along and showed that a great sire produced better than himself.  This stallion coupled halter abilities with western pleasure athleticism.

Testing the theory that a great stallion's genetics will continue through the generations, ETCH FOR SUCCESS sired FLAME OF APOLLO.  This young athlete won in Halter, Most Colorful, Hunter in Hand Stallions, Hunter Under Saddle, Jr. Western Pleasure and Non-Pro Western Pleasure.  He took Grand Champion in his Futurity Class for Jr. Western Pleasure and Reserve Grand Champion in Hunter Under Saddle.  Each year that he was shown, he qualified for the WORLD APPALOOSA SHOW.

Not to be outdone by his sire or grandsire, FLAME OF APOLLO sired APOLLOS ETCHED IMAGE.  Just to confirm the strength of genetics, APOLLOS ETCHED IMAGE is a throwback in looks to ETCH TO IMPRESS.

"IMAGE" went with his sire to the Futurity and made his mark as Grand Champion by placing first under all four judges in Weanling Colts.  He stood Reserve Grand Champion of all weanlings and Reserve Grand Champion in Most Colorful. 

Each generation produced a higher quality individual.  IMAGE held true to his heritage and subsequently sired a foal that surpassed all expectations.  FALCON OF APOLLO entered the world with an "Arab" head and a muscled, powerhouse body. 

IMAGE has already reached the height of 16 hands.  He has natural muscling that gives him bulk and his large jowls accents the width between his eyes and his refined muzzle.  His rich coloring makes him a standout and immediately draws the eye.  He inherited his sire's gentle nature, athletic abilities and a love for learning new training experiences. Image is currently with a professional trainer and this young stallion is exceeding our expectations for the western pleasure discipline.
