Hank Wiesecamp believed very strongly in the SKIPPER W bloodlines.  He believed that crossing superb individuals should consistently produce outstanding conformation, intelligent minds and great athletes.  These good looking individuals should perform equally well on the working ranch, in the show ring, and then produce offspring that exceed their parent's attributes.

The Wiesecamp Legacy lives on in APOLLOS REY DEL SOL.  He is the grandson of SCOTTISH WILL and an own son of SKIPPER LEO KING (IBHA Champion, Reserve IBHA Honor Roll Stallion, WBHA Reserve Halter Stallion, IBHA Arena Performance ROM).  "Cisco" inherited his sire's superb coloring and massive jowls.  The great width between his expressive eyes indicate the intelligence that has been the hallmark of the SKIPPER W breeding program.

At first glance, it is a common misconception that CISCO is an own son of HOLLYWOOD DUN IT.  Cisco's long, thick and lustrous forelock, flowing mane and ground touching tail make him a carbon copy of this reining athlete.  Cisco's compact, muscled body helps to perpetuate the look of a reiner.

An intelligent mind and a gentle personality are a part of Cisco's outstanding traits.  He produces offspring that inherit his gentleness of spirit and his muscled body while taking on their dam's facial structure.  Cisco is "people orientated" and he passes along his desire to please personality.
